Wraparound cases are flat pieces of corrugated that use an automatic case packer to form, load and wrap the corrugated blank around the product and glue it closed. Thus, this corrugated box style is basically just a Regular Slotted Container (RSC) that automated machinery wraps around products. However, the dimensions of wraparound cases offer lower material costs since they reduce the amount of corrugated used to create a case and they reduce the extra step to side glue on the flap at the corrugated supplier. In addition, the less height of carton is, the safer the corrugated material is. Wraparound case packers automatically take care of this step and remove the added cost for owners who have adopted the system.
NG wraparound system offers versatile the use of wraparound cases. the wrap around blank is partially formed to allow the product to be loaded into it from the side or on the top, which normally depends on the type of products and how production process is employed. The top-load wrap around system can easily replace the standard RSC system, whose design is divided the packing system into main 2 sections; carton forming and carton closing, similar to RSC system.
After forming the carton, operators can load their products into this wraparound case similarly to how they load the products
into their current RSC cartons and, after finish loading, the carton will be glued and closed afterward.
For automatic line, normally products loading station will be on the side, where the carton has yet been formed. After products are loaded, the packing line will delivered the carton to glue and seal the carton.
